This poor Miata RF got dropped off at the body shop at work this afternoon, still with decorative dealer plates and a window sticker.
If I was a betting man, I’d say a porter decided to play race car driver and slid into a curb hard. There’s a nice big chunk missing out of the back wheel. The right front fender had some damage too.

If you cant handle a Miata you should either never drive or get a Geo Metro.

e-brake slides can get iffy in anything.

I’ll stick to never drive. E-brake slides should only be practiced in empty parking lots or maybe the track.

Time to patch it up and sell it as new with no disclosure. - Dealer, probably.

As someone who interacts with porters on a daily basis, be amazed most of them are allowed to ride a bike.

Nah, our dealer network isnt one to particularity fuck over customers like that. They have a (rather positive) reputation locally to uphold.

I’d have to agree with this statement.

I have an uncle who bought a Tundra that the dealer had sold with no disclosure of an incident like that.

Sweet! I didn’t know that the new MX5 had rear wheel steering and highly adjustable camber.
